Our club takes pride in the wide variety of activities and events that we sponsor or support.
We are extremely proud of the accomplishments of the Sponsored Youth organizations.
Our member Phyllis O. Burnett is a safety specialist and regularly offers Defensive Driving Course 3-4 time a year.
We rotate the venues in order to provide everyone an opportunity to take this course.

Pennies for Peds has become the Community Fund Raiser run by the kids of our school district.
Each year a different destination is picked for the fundraiser.
Using over sized water jars to collect the donations. Kids in each of the school buildings ask for donations during their lunch time for a month, then we calculate who did the most.
Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center
NY Kiwanis Governor’s First Ladies Project:
Has choose to focus her “Project” on supplying Hospital’s maternity wards
with needed supplies for young families going home with virtually nothing.
Thanks to members and ladies from the Glen Cove Senior Center for making the contribution.
Kiwanis club of Glen Cove holiday donation:
Every year our club pools its resources from local organizations and locates a family in need that we can assist during the holidays.
We attempt to help these families in the ways they need and not what we feel is needed.
This year, a family who chose to be anonymous, as their family has very young children who still believe . . They were grateful for the gifts that we purchased on their behalf. We wrapped the gifts for them and happily complied by marking them from the Jolly Ole Elf.
We also provided gift card to a local grocery store to help with a couple of meals.
