Where community service starts

There is so much to do . . . .   

Our club takes pride in the wide variety of activities and  events that we sponsor or support.

We are extremely proud of the accomplishments of the Sponsored Youth organizations.

Our member Phyllis O. Burnett is a safety specialist and regularly donates her time to perform Defensive Driving Courses, 3-4 time a year for our Club.

We rotate the venues in order to provide everyone an opportunity to take this course.

Always looking to improve: our local Clergy work together to open a Shelter to help homeless men during the cold winter months.  

Combining their efforts and our community,extend an offer to assist in feeding, provide basic Medical attention and other services for these men.

We help where needed, so this year we concentrate our gifts by bringing meals, serving, cleaning up and brought socks and oral hygiene products.   

Glen Cove High School Key Club works during the Sea Cliff Mini Mart in October. In december, decorating gingerbread houses at Deasy School for the Holidays.

This event is our largest fund raising event for the year.

Another hidden gem:

Mama’s House, located right here in Glen Cove.

We recruit volunteers to help make baby items for the newborns and donate lightly used kids clothes for any siblings.

Pennies for Peds has become the Community Fund Raiser run by the kids of our school district.

Each year a different destination is picked for the fundraiser.

Using over sized water jars to collect the donations. Kids in each of the school buildings ask for donations during their lunch time for a month, then we calculate who did the most.
