Soccer Team 2009
A note from our Coach: Hi, My name is Mike Mandarino and I had the pleasure of coaching a fine bunch of 5th graders for the Kiwanis sponsored team of the GC Junior Soccer League. I'm proud to say we won the 4B Division Championship. After tying powerhouse Mayer Malbin 1-1 in regulation, a team who hadn't given up a goal since game 4 of the 12 game schedule. We beat them in a shoot-out 2-1. Thank you for your sponsorship. |

At the March 2009 Divisional meeting, our club was named Distinguished Club, which included new titles for both the President Phyllis O. Burnett and our Treasurer Rich Hall.

The presentation to the Glen Cove EMS was held at the City meeting January 2009 The Pediatric Trauma Kit was gifted to our club by the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center. This gift we received was donated to the KTPC with the money raised during the 2008 Pennies for Ped program which ran through the School district. The President was quoted "We hope you never have to use it!" |
